  1. Hazard ratios were adjusted for age, sex, education, smoking status, drinking status, body mass index, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, long-term use of herbal medicine, long-term use of painkillers, and physical activity when appropriate
  2. Diabetes was defined as having a history of diabetes or fasting blood glucose ≥ 126 mg/dL
  3. Overweight was defined as BMI ≥ 25 (kg/m2), while normal weight was defined as 18.5 < BMI < 25 (kg/m2)
